About The Department:
| Makes X-ray of teeth and jaws for diagnosis of disease. This department provides access to various conventional and advanced imaging including intraoral Periapical and Bitewing Radiography, Panoramic radiography, Cephalometric radiography and Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT). In addition, the OMFR department provides services to patients in need of maxillofacial ultrasonography (US). US imaging can assess the anatomy of soft tissues of head and neck and assess salivary gland pathologies and presence of sialolithiasis. The Intraoral probe of US can assess the alveolar bone of jaw and periodontium with high accuracy. |
